He is the son of Arthur Clayton and Elizabeth Harriet "Hattie" (Fitzwater) Jones. He married Eldora Fern (Caldwell) Jones, whom he is buried beside.

Lloyd H. Jones, 77, of 706 S. Eighth St., Richmond, Ind., died early Monday morning at Reid Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Preble County, but lived in Richmond most of his life. He was a retired employee of Inland Division of General Motors Corp., Dayton.
Mr. Jones was a member of the First Brethren Church in West Alexandria, and a former member of the Eagles Lodge. His wife, Eloda Fern Jones, died in 1971.
Survivors include one brother, Leroy E. Jones of Richmond, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Verlie Kress of Lakeview, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Jones will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday (today) at Doan and Mills Funeral Home, Richmond, with the Rev. Percy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery near Eldorado.
