James Edward Aldridge, 73, of Parrish died Thursday, April 1, 1999. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Bell-Forestdale Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery. The Rev. Frankye Gregory will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight. Bell Funeral Home of Forestdale will direct.

He was a member of Camp Hill Baptist Church and Ironworker Union Local No. 526.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Aldridge of Parrish; three sons, James E. Jr. and his wife, Brenda Aldridge of Springhill, Tenn., Gregory L. and his wife, Jewell Aldridge of Orange Beach, and Danny L. and his wife, Carolyn Aldridge of Augusta, Ga.; three daughters, Elizabeth Price, Wanda F. and her husband, Roger Crowe, and Rhonda and her husband, James Christian, all of Parrish; sister, Zora Green of Forestdale; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
