Marie T. Baker, 86, a longtime Franklin County/Andersonville area resident, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, in Batesville.
She was born March 16, 1928, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to George and Loretta Weber. Marie married David Baker June 15, 1945. He preceded her in death May 22, 1987.
Marie was a member of the Buena Southern Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Earl) Sizemore, Owen County, Kentucky, Karen (Mike) Hunter, Andersonville, and Linda Wilson, Andersonville; a son, Lloyd Tom (Kathy) Baker, Andersonville; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Sonny; stillborn son; grandson; great-grandson; two brothers, Joseph and George Weber; and sister Martha Jean Dishman.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Brother Rob Edwards presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 11 a.m. until the time of service Monday. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
