A. Louise (Caterbone) Gentzler, 88, formerly of East Madison Street, Lancaster, passed away on February 4, 2015 at Conestoga View. She was the wife of the late Melvin Gentzler with whom she was married 58 years at the time of his death in 2006.

A homemaker, Louise was employed as a cafeteria worker at Lincoln Junior High School in the late 1960's. A longtime volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Louise enjoyed traveling with her husband, visiting 48 of the 50 states. She also enjoyed reading and taking the bus downtown, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Barry Gentzler and his wife Mary Fries Gentzler and their daughters, Stephanie, wife of Scott Wisler, and Michelle, wife of Nate Wingert and great-grandchildren, Caroline & Megan Wisler and Aidan and Brady Wingert.

Louise's Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home "Sullivan Home," 121 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 10AM (Visitation 9-10AM). Interment will be held in the Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. Memorial Remembrances can be made in Louise's memory to the Conestoga View Resident Activity Fund.
