Ms. Mary Fern Mastin, age 84, of South Brookview Road, North Wilkesboro, died Thursday, December 25, 2003 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 28, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Alfred E. Andrews, Jr., and the Rev. David Wellborn officiating. Burial was in Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Mastin was born in Wilkes County, February 14, 1919, to Monroe P. and Bessie Alice Myers Mastin. Ms. Mastin is survived by one son, Billy "Bill" J. Mastin of North Wilkesboro; two brothers, Lee Roy Mastin, M. P. Mastin, Jr., both of North Wilkesboro; one grandchild.
