Angelina "Angie" Marie Serio Berrere went to her reward on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the age of 94. She passed away at her daughter's home in Mandeville, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents Angelo and Josephine Greco Serio; her husband, John A. Barrere; her daughter, Marie Winters Giorlando; her brother, Joseph "Sam" Serio; and her sister, Carmel Serio Glorioso.

Angelina was a devout Catholic. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend. All who knew her loved her.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Jo Ann Barrere Guidry and her husband, Howard; her sons, John A. Barrere, Jr. and his wife, Patricia Cangelosi; and Steven W. Barrere and his wife, Ellen Valentino; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 West Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 12:00 Noon with visitation at the church starting at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery immediately following the mass.
