Son of Charles and Cesarina Cantello. He graduated from Norristown High School in 1953, and after a brief time in Seminary, served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959 before marrying and starting a family. He was a mortgage broker for over 20 years in both Detroit and Atlanta. His volunteer work included Northside Hospital Auxiliary Puppet Program, Dorothy C. Benson Senior Center, Roswell Adult Recreation Center, Men's Cursillo, and St. Vincent de Paul. He performed in numerous plays with the More Or Less Players of Roswell. Surviving are his brother Albert, sons Joe and Robert, daughter Andrea, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
