The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield on Tuesday, February 10th, from 4-7:00PM and again at the church on Wednesday beginning at 12 noon until the hour of service.
Mr. Crutcher was born in Robertson County, TN on October 31, 1934 to the late William and Lemma Hinkle Crutcher. He graduated from Coopertown High School, was a U.S. Army veteran, was a farmer, and enjoyed woodworking. He was also a faithful member of Battle Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Crutcher Harvey; brothers, Billy Crutcher, Thomas Crutcher, Bryan Crutcher, and James Crutcher; and sisters, Molene Moulton, Margaret Weeks, and Ruth Balthrop.
Mr. Crutcher is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anne C. Crutcher; son, David S. (Suzanne) Crutcher of Knoxville; son-in-law, Todd Harvey of Clarksville; grandchildren, Ashley Harvey (Bradley) Jackson of Clarksville, and Jon Harvey of Clarksville; brother, Richard S. (Shannon) Crutcher of Pleasant View; sisters, Carolyn Jillson of California, and Mayron (Elwyn) Huddleston of Brentwood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either the Cindy Crutcher Harvey Endowed Scholarship for Accounting and Business at Austin Peay State University or to the Battle Creek Baptist Church cemetery fund. All donations may sent in care of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.
