Danny was a journeyman with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #172. He retired young enough to have time to enjoy what he loved: cars, cave exploration, traveling, and the outdoors. He would take daily walks on the beach, would swim in the ocean, and would scuba dive. He explored Death Valley and climbed Mt. St. Helen's. He would watch rocket launches at the Kennedy Space Center. Danny loved his family, and without hesitation he would travel across the country at a moment's notice to help anytime he was needed. His laugh brought great joy and comfort to everyone near him.
Danny was survived by his parents (Larry CULP and Bonnie McGUIRE), two brothers, one sister, three daughters, one son, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Danny's paternal grandparents were Everett J. CULP and Edna M. PICKING.
Danny was part of the Mishawaka High School Class of 1968, in Mishawaka, Indiana. He began kindergarten in September 1955 at Mary Phillips Elementary School, in Mishawaka, and graduated from high school with several of those with whom he had begun kindergarten.
