at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Murray-Orwosky
Funeral Home with Rev. Otis Taylor officiating.
Interment will be in Old Saltillo Cemetary.
Mr. Sparks died Sunday night as a result of injuries
sustained in a traffic accident.
The son of John W. and Zera Bishop Sparks, Sr.,
was born January 16, 1923 in Hunt County.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mr Sparks married the former Ruby Jewel Miller
on September 6, 1941 in Hopkins County.
Survivors include his wife; a son John W. Sparks III
of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Cook
of California, Mrs. Irene Osborn of Arizona, and
Mrs. Linda Wilhelm of Garland; a sister Mrs. Monroe
Combs of Emory; and five grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Charles Bishop, J. W. Bell, Lesley
Harris, A. C. Caldwell, David Combs and Joe Ball.
