Harry Edward Schmale is the son of Henry William Schmale and Emma Amanda Fry. Harry is the second of 5 children. His older brother was born in 1878 and is believed to have either been "Stillborn" or died the same day not long after his birth. Harry was then the oldest of 3 remaining siblings; Margaret E. born in 1884, William Fry born in 1886 and Edith Y born in 1888. Harry is buried in the Mellor family plot which is his Mother-in-laws family.
