CALDWELL — Mrs. Mary E. Osborne, 81, of Wilder, died Sunday in a Caldwell nursing home.

She was born March 7, 1884, in Gray County, Ontario, Canada. She was reared there and was married to William J. Osborne on Dec. 31, 1902, at Flesherton, Ontario, Canada. They homesteaded in Saskatchewan, Canada, for four years. They moved to Wilder in 1908, where they homesteaded a farm and since had resided. Mr. Osborne did Nov. 21, 1957. She is the last charter member of the Golden Gate Baptist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Carlson and Mrs. Olive Applegate, both of Wilder, Mrs. Violet Smith and Mrs. Lillian Brewer, both of Boise; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Walter, Earl and Ernest, and by five brothers.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. John Senn of the Golden Gate Baptist Church, Wilder. Interment will be at the Wilder Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Golden Gate Baptist Church.
