MOUNT PLEASANT, Utah —Services for Mary Evelyn Allred Larsen, 70, of 175 W. 3rd South, Mount Pleasant, Utah, who died Wednesday at her daughter's home in Orem, Utah, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the First and Fourth Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mount Pleasant, under the direction of Neal Jacobs Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant. Interment will be in Mount. Pleasant City Cemetery.
She was born June 29, 1908, at Morgan, Utah. She attended school at Blackfoot, and Thorsby and Raymond, (Alberta) Canada. She worked for the telephone company in Boise before her marriage. She was married to Rudolf Larsen on April 2, 1930, at the Salt lake City Temple by Apostle George F. Richards. They lived in Mount Pleasant, Boise, Melba and Emmett, then returned to Mount Pleasant in 1970. She was a Temple Ordinance worker at Manti Temple for several years. She was active in genealogy. quilting and gardening. Site was an active member of the LDS Church. She held positions of Relief Society Counselor, teacher and stake secretary, primary president, chorister and Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are her husband of Mount Pleasant, four daughters. Mrs. A. L. (Evelyn) Melugin of Oakley, Mrs. Thomas R. (Vera) Beeston of Orem, Utah. Mrs. Alvin Bud (Ruth) Sims of Meridian and Mrs. Robert B. (Carol) Thomson of Granger, Utah; a son, Frank Raton Larsen of Vancouver, Wash.; four brothers, Otho Allred of Mount Shasta, Calif., Owen A. Allred of Murray, Utah. Marvin L. Allred of Mona, Utah, and Clarence E. Allred of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Lyman (Beth) Jessop of Murray and Mrs. Howard (Modine) Clark, of Blackfoot: two half-brothers, Elwood Allred of Burley and Harold Allred of Fruitland; two half-sisters. Mrs. Hyram (Irene) Rowberry of American Fork, Utah and Mrs. Rea Allred Kunz of Draper, Utah; and 25 grandchildren.
