CALDWELL - Harriet E. Groom, 61, Wilder Route 2, died Thursday night at a Caldwell hospital following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 5, 1906, at Morrowville, Kan. She was married to Floyd W. Groom and the couple lived in Caldwell before settling in Wilder. They have resided there for the
past 22 years.
Mrs. Groom is survived by her husband; three sons, LeRoy Groom of Medford, Ore; Dale Groom of Wilder and Ralph E. Groom of LaGrande, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Mona Hanson of Medford and Mrs. Dollie Leadbetter of Fruitland; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Cook of Pocatello, Mrs. Ada Gasaway of San Pablo, Calif., and Mrs. Verna Wilkerson of Caldwell;
and five grandchildren.
Services will he held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eldon Hunter of the Wilder Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at
the Wilder Cemetery.
