"Howard C. Hallman, Jr., 78, Kansas City in Clay County, died April 18, 1988, at the Liberty Hospital. He was born in Phoenixville, Pa., and lived in Kansas City for 39 years. Mr. Hallman was a security guard for the City National Bank and Trust Co. for 21 years before he retired. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Kansas City. He was a member of the North Kansas City Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife, Bessie C. Hallman of the home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Newcomer's White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, April 21, 1988
