Mrs. Lola Springman, the widow of Lawrence Springman who died in February of 1969, of 1001 McKinley Blvd, Alton, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday at Alton Memorial Hospital after an illness of one year.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Devoe (Lucille) Aderhold of Bolivar, Tenn. and Mrs. Arthur (Helen) Becker of Godfrey; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five half-brothers, Arthur Ruthsatz and Kenneth Miller, both of Alton, James Rex Miller of Fosterburg, Max Miller and Byron Little, both of Beecher City, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. De. E. Ruby of Maumee, Ohio and Mrs. Marguerite Combs of Brazil, Ind.
Mrs. Springman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, which the family has designated as a memorial.
The Rev. Dr. Cortley Burroughs, pastor of the church, will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at Gent Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral after 2 p.m. Sunday.
