Debby G. (Bond) Hunter, age 64, of Carrollton, Kentucky, formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on July 5, 1950, in Madison, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Robert L. "Bobby" and Gladys L. (Bolden) Bond. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where she was a 1969 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. Debby was united in marriage on April 17, 1981, in Carrollton, Kentucky, to the late, Hubert D. Hunter. Debby and Hubert shared 10 years of marriage together until he passed away on March 5, 1991. Debby was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, for 23 1/2 years. She was also employed for BESI Inc. in Vevay, Indiana, retiring in 2011. Debby was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 326 of Rising Sun, Indiana and the Gallatin County Homemakers Club. She was also a member of the Mt. Sterling Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling, Indiana & attended the English Baptist Church in Carrollton, Kentucky. Debby enjoyed bowling, camping, shopping, mowing, keeping a meticulous lawn and the Kentucky Wildcats. Debby will be deeply missed by her loving family, dear friends & her community. Debby passed away at 6:05 am, Friday, February 13, 2015, at her residence in Carrollton, Kentucky.

Debby will be dearly missed by her loving companion: Billy Pate of Carrollton, KY; her sister: Cheryl "Tootie" Stevens & her husband: Jim of Bedford, KY; her nephews: Randy Stevens & Rob Stevens & his wife: Jenna; her great-nieces & great-nephews:; her uncles: Danny Bolden of Aurora, IN & Gary "Skip" Bolden & his wife: Loleta of Tallahassee, FL; her aunt: Sarah Keith of Vevay, IN; her special cousins: Danna Adams & Keegan Watson; her numerous cousins & a host of special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert L. "Bobby" Bond, died December 11, 1996 & Gladys L. (Bolden) Bond, died December 23, 2012; her husband: Hubert D. Hunter, died March 5, 1991; her paternal grandparents: Sim Bond & Anna (Cardle) Doke; her maternal grandparents: Vernon E. Bolden, died May 23, 1992 & Leona M. (Vahlsing) Bolden, died February 1, 1991; her uncle: Charles V. "Chuck" Bolden, died June 17, 1992; her aunts: Beverly "Inky" Jackson, died September 11, 2006 & Mary Jo Cook.

Friends may call 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, February 16, 2015, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 1:00 pm, by Bro. Tyler Sultze, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

The Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 326 of Rising Sun, Indiana will conduct Eastern Star Services at 7:30 pm, Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Sterling Baptist Church, Eastern Star Chapter No. 326 of Rising Sun, Indiana or to the Gallatin County Homemakers Club.
