Theodore B Patton, 63, of 358 S Kellogg St, died Saturday at 3:40 AM in St. Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Patton was born in Macon, MO, March 26, 1890, and had resided 10 years in Galesburg, where he was employed as a truck driver for the May Co. He served in Co. C of the 304th Field Signal Battalion in World War I. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Aerie 518, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Ralph M Noble Post of the American Legion. He marriage to Dorothy Mettler took place in Galesburg July 9, 1945.
Surviving are the wife; his mother, Mrs. Emma K Patton of East Moline; a son, Raymond, who resides in Oklahoma; three step-sons, Robert Mettler, in Korea, Walter and Harold Mettler at home; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Woods of East Moline and Mrs. Elmer Scott of Monmouth.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2PM in the First and Puckett Funeral Home. Dr. Jual Ford, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Ralph M Noble Post of the American Legion. Friends may call this evening at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Theodore B Patton, 63, of 358 S Kellogg St, who died Saturday, were held today at 2PM in the First and Puckett Funeral Home, with Dr. Jual Ford, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Vocal selections were offered by Mrs. Paul Clausen, accompanied by Mrs. Clifford Pearson, organist.
The ceremonial squad of Ralph M Noble Post, American Legion, conducted military honors at the graveside in East Linwood Cemetery. Members of the squad also served as pallbearers. Mr. Patton was a veteran of World War I.

Graveside military rites were conducted Tuesday afternoon in East Linwood Cemetery for Theodore B Patton, 63, of 358 S Kellogg St, who died Saturday. Conducting the services were the following members of Ralph M Noble Post of the American Legion: Gordon Mullooly, commander; Don Williams and CA McDonald, flagbearers; Dale Gouth, bugler; Max Jones, William Day, Verne Finney, Al Nystrom, Louis Zeldes and Gordon Mullooly who were the pallbearers and also served as members of the firing squad.
