Mrs. Albert Bennetts, lifetime resident of the Comstock, died Friday in Washoe Medical Center where she had been a patient for four days.
Mrs. Bennetts was born in Gold Hill July 11, 1896, as Julia McCormick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McCormick. She was educated in the Virginia City Schools.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Bennetts of Virginia City; two sons, Michael Nevin of Sparks and Raymond Nevin of Salem, Ore.; four grandsons and a granddaughter.
Recitation of the Rosary was held Sunday evening in the home chapel of the Ross-Burke Co. and Requiem Mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Cathederal followed by burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
