Harold Frank Aiton, age 91, of Woodstock, formerly of Hartland, died peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock after a period of failing health. He was the son of the late Frank and Janet (MacMullin) Aiton. Harold was predeceased by his brothers Howard and Donald Aiton.

Harold is survived by his wife Irma (Clark) Aiton, one son, John (Linda) Aiton, one daughter, Sandra Aiton, 5 grandchildren; Heather Aiton-Landry (Bryan), Joanna Andow (John), Justin, Jeremy (Elaine) and Sarah Depow, 3 great grand daughters, Shirley and Margaret Andow and Rose Landry, several nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Sunday 7-9 p.m. There will be a legion service on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hartland United Baptist Church with Rev Leonard Cousins officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at a later date. Donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
