NEW ULM - Adaline Bade, 96, of New Ulm, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 17, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Donald Sutton officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday.
Minnesota Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Adaline is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Bade on October 6, 1987; four sisters; and four brothers.

Adaline Wilhelmina Dorothea Boettcher was born on September 13, 1911 in Moltke Township, Sibley County, to Adolph and Emma (Lehrke) Boettcher. On October 6, 1937 she was united in marriage to Elmer Bade at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. After marriage they farmed in Severance Township, Sibley County until 1960 when they retired and moved to New Ulm. Adaline was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm and the Quilters at church.
