Margaret S. Smith "Tutu" Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on March 8, 2007. She was born on September 6, 1913, the middle of three children of James R. and Mamie Cannon Lambert Smyth. She attended LDS High School where she met Enoch, her high school sweetheart. They were married on Sept. 1, 1934. The most important things to Margaret were her family and her home. She had a very full life. Margaret was always dressed to the nines, whether it was a matching hat and coat to go to the grocery store or an evening gown for a formal at The Country Club or Alta Club. She enjoyed Tuesday ladies golf, the Garden Club, getting dressed up for parties, the opera, and the symphony. Enoch and Margaret's love of travel had them on the go often; they visited many wonderful places. Both of them loved animals and spent a great deal of time raising and showing American Saddlebred horses. They were rewarded with several World Championships. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Enoch, a daughter Maurine, a son Michael Robert, and a great-granddaughter Alexa. She is survived by a son Enoch Richard (Linda), three grandchildren, Teresa Jensen (Kerry), Enoch L. Smith (Lynda), and Nathan R. Smith (Melanie); and four great-grand-children, Samantha, Gabriel, Braden and Jacob. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Cida, Mike and Diana for their loving and devoted care. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13th. Graveside Services will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 14th at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity.
