Gainesville - Mrs. Pauline C. Walker, 70, passed away February 1, 2015 at Shands Hospital UF. Mrs. Walker was a member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. She was a pianist and organist, and played for several Churches around the City.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents- James, Sr. and Lola Camps, sister- Deloris Camps-Ellis, and brothers- Leonard, Johnnie and Louis Camps.
Precious memories will live on in the hearts of her husband, Jerry Walker of Gainesville, FL; 3 children- Jerry G. Walker (Cynthia) and Sherri Walker, both of Gainesville, FL, Paula T. Walker of Orlando, FL; two brothers- James Camps, Jr. (Armerdell) and Edward Camps (Carolyn) both of Gainesville, FL; one sister- Jane Dickerson (Alfred, Sr.) of Gainesville, FL; three sister-in-laws- Rozella Howard (John), Rebecca Camps, and Juanita Camps; four aunts- Jessie McKnight (Bishop J.E. McKnight, Sr), Pearlie Sanders, Janie Sanford (Horace), Wilma Camps, and Elnora Gaskins; one uncle- John Camps; one god sister- Brenda Davis; and a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Walker will be held, 11:00am, Saturday, February 14th, 2015 at Church of God By Faith, Bishop James McKnight, Sr., Pastor, Apostle Stephan Jennings, Eulogist, Pator Marcia Mobley, Officiating Pastor; burial will follow in Newnan's Lake Church of God By Faith Cemetery (Patrick Memorial Gardens). Mrs. Walker will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 13th, 2015 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walker at 10:15am to form the cortege.
