Mary Seibert Edwards with her husband, Herbert W. Edwards, possibly on their wedding day in October 1894. In the early 1900s, the couple went homesteading in the Badlands of South Dakota with Mary's brother 'Deak' and sister, Sylvia or 'Jeff.' They later all returned to Des Moines.
