He was born in Vancouver, Wash., and raised in Salem. He was a roofer. He married Debra in 1983 and they moved to Wilder in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and pitching horseshoes.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Jenifer and Jessica Scott, both of Wilder; brother, Mark of Dallas; and sister, Joan Haddix of Portland.
Celebration of life will be noon April 29 at 1132 Hyson Court NE, Keizer. Arrangements are by Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Idaho. Contributions: Voluntary Service #135-H, Veterans Administration Medical Center, 500 W. Fort St., Boise, ID 83702 for hepatitis C research
