Mr. Rex Luther Gregory, 73, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Gregory was born on January 25, 1942 in Bay Springs, MS to the late, I.V. and Mary Virginia Gregory. He retired from Chevron Refinery after almost 29 years of service and was a 32 Degree Mason with Lodge #419 of Pascagoula, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judith “Judi” Gregory; son, James Rex (Tammy) Gregory; daughter, Cara Ann (Matt) Davis; grandchildren, James, Janae’, and Jessie Gregory and Ahlen Davis; siblings, Donald (Faye) Gregory, Elaine (Charles) Philbrook, Wiley (Valerie) Gregory, Ronald (Joni) Gregory and Darlene (Carl) Ladner; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be sent to St. Judes Children Research Hospital. Pre-addressed envelopes and a drop-box will be available at Heritage Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Ron Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
