Mrs. Lamica, Cook, Dies In Hospital
Mrs. Mary C. Lamica, 74, of 435 S. James St., who had been a cook in several area restaurants, died Sunday in a Rome hospital after an illness of over two years.
A native of Chateaugay, where she was born Nov. 20, 1892, her parents were Michael and Marceline Bovia Kolpharp. She and Alexander Lamica were married Jan. 10, 1910, in Notre Dame Church, Malone. He died April 1, 1966.
Mrs. Lamica, who had lived in Rome for 35 years, was a member of St. Peter's Church and the Golden Age Club of Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Edward C. (Anna) Seymour, Rome; and two grandchildren, David and John Lamica, Malone. A son, George H. Lamica, was killed in the Korean Conflict.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 at the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home and at 11 at St. Peter's Church where a requiem high Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Funeral services for Mrs Mary C. Lamica, widow of Alexander Lamica, of 435 S James St. who died Sunday were held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Martin J. Norm Funeral Home and at 11 in St. Peter's Church, where a requiem high Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Michael D. Johnson.
Bearers were Richard W., Garrv L. and Dennis L. Como, Albert F. and Jack A. Wilkes, and Daniel J. Seymour. Burial was in St Peter's Cemetery.
