Fremont: Rex Alan Hasselbach, 49, of Quail Dr., Fremont died Friday,December 31, 2010 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
He was born on March 29, 1961 in Sandusky, OH to Rodney and Angeline (Reichert) Hasselbach. He was a 1980 graduate of Fremont Ross/Vanguard Vocational High School. Rex worked as a laborer in Construction and Maintenance. He enjoyed helping people, fishing, NASCAR and football.
Rex is survived by his parents, Rodney and Angeline "Ann" Hasselbach, Fremont, OH; children, all of Fremont, OH; former wives, sisters, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Hasselbach; and his grandparents Donald and Irene (Emery) Hasselbach.
Visitation: Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH. Service: Thursday, January 6, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship, 2051 Old Oak Harbor Rd, Fremont, with Pastor Duane Dunfee officiating. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
