Elveretta Geil Taken By Death In 92nd Year
Mrs. Elveretta Geil, 92, of Lodi, died in a Stockton hospital yesterday after a long illness. Born in Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Geil had lived in Lodi for the past 13 years. She was the wife of the late Lincoln Geil. Mrs. Geil was a member of the Christian Science Church.
She is survived by four children: Mrs. Anna Bettger of Lodi; Charles H. Geil, stationed with the United States Navy in Japan; Dewey Geil of Sebastopol; and W.W. Geil of Oroville. Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Burial in Cherokee Memorial Park.
