Thomas Lynn Baker, age 50, of Columbia City, died at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday (December 13, 2011) at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Tom was born in Huntington, on December 3, 1961, the son of Thomas Lee and Bonnie (Smuts) Baker. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 1980. He married Tammy Lynn Closson on March 11, 2011 in Columbia City.
Tom was Vice-President and part owner of the Indiana Baking Company in Fort Wayne.
Survivors include his wife - Tammy Lynn Baker of Columbia City; his parents Thomas and Bonnie Baker of Huntington; two sisters - Melinda Baker of Huntington and Melissa Baker of Huntington; two brothers - Michael France of Fort Wayne and Terry France of Ormond Beach, Florida; two daughters - Maria Pena of Fort Wayne and Tosha Potter of Columbia City; one son - Tony Baker of Columbia City; one stepson - John Dickman of Columbia City; one stepdaughter - Tabitha Dickman; and eight grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday (December 17, 2011) from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, 306 West Van Buren Street Columbia City, IN.
