On Tuesday morning at three o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Chas. Hoaglund. She was 38 years, 10 months and 10 days old at the time of her death. Mrs. Hoaglund was born in Clear Born (sic) County and about fifteen years ago was married to Chas. Hoaglund of Spruce Hill. She had been a patient sufferer of cancer the past year and death came as a relief to her severe suffering. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, and a ten year old son, a mother, six brothers and three sisters.
The funeral services were held at the home on Thursday afternoon, Rev. Greenup of Alexandria officiating.
