Sharon K Radu, 65, passed away, Feb. 17, 2015. She was a native and life long resident of Fort Wayne, IN. and graduated from South Side HS in 1967.
Sharon was a receptionist and book keeper with Schafer's Answering Service for 25 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Sharon enjoyed reading Danielle Steele novels, crocheting, and knitting. Her true passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel J. Radu; daughter Shawn Marie Gibson, both of Fort Wayne, IN.; sister, Joyce M Brames of Pleasant Lake, IN; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Sharon was preceded in death by daughter Wendi D. Radu and son; Robert D. Radu; parents; Robert M. and Helen L. Varner; brother Clint Varner; sister Linda Varner.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30, Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at St. Jude Catholic Church with calling one hour prior, Father Robert D'Souza officiating. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary Sunday at 4:30pm.
