He attended Floyd Elementary School and Kerman High School where he played on both the football and baseball teams.
Norman served in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier, USS Ticonderoga.
He was the proprietor of Tire Supply, Inc. in Madera for 20 years.
Norman lived with his wife Marilyn on the family farm in Kerman where he grew up. He really enjoyed working in his almond orchard.
He was preceded in death by his brother Harvey.
Norman is survived by his wife Marilyn; daughter, Anndrea Fling; son, Jim Lowe; stepdaughter, Lori Young Costa; numerous grandchildren, and sisters, Carole Rippee and Patty Raney. Visitation will be at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Sunday, May 14, 2006, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service for family will be at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Monday, May 15, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration at Kerman United Methodist Church, 3095 N. Madera Ave. in Kerman, at 10:30 a.m.
