Funeral services for Carroll Clifton, age 84, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. David Pohto officiating. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Clifton was born on March 30, 1936 in Jenkins County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Pearl Clifton, his wife, Virginia Perkins Clifton, and his son, Tommy Clifton. Mr. Clifton was a livestock buyer and attended Olivet Baptist Church. Mr. Clifton passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 in Shamrock Nursing Home.
Mr. Clifton is survived by his children, Tammie Corley, Steven Clifton (Ellen) and David Clifton, a sister, Nell Oglesby, 2 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
