Bani (Sonny)Ariel Craddock Jr., 58, of 1694 Old Sands Road, Ridgeway, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008.
The family will receive friends and hold a memorial service from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the home on Old Sands Road. Burial will be private.
Craddock was born in Martinsville on May 26, 1950, to Bani A. Craddock Sr. and Christine Altice Craddock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Haynes Jr.
He worked as a machinist at MasterBrand Cabinets.
Surviving are his wife, Vicky Pruitt Craddock of the home; a son, Timothy Shawn Craddock of Stephens City; four sisters, Sylvia Craddock and Patricia Cassell, both of Ridgeway, Brenda Simpson of Eden, N.C., and Diane Smith of Ridgeway; and two grandchildren.
Community Funeral Services of Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
Death resulted from a fall from a ladder while doing repair work.
