PASSES AWAY AFTER ILLNESS SEVERAL MONTHS

Mrs. Johanna Kries Dies Sunday Afternoon after an illness which lasted several months, Mrs. Johanna Kries, 55, passed
away Sunday afternoon at 5:30 p.m.

The deceased, the wife of John Dries,Twelfth and Marshall streets, was born June 14, 1866 at Kellnersville.

While still a young girl, her parents moved to Kingsbridge, town of Kossuth.

There she was married on June 9, 1885, to the husband who survives her.

Three of their four children survive the mother, Edward having preceded her in death.

The other children are William who resides at Eau Claire, and Joseph and Marie, both of this city.

Four sisters also survive. They are, Mrs. Joseph Stefl of Cato, Mrs. Joseph Muench of Kellnersville, and Mrs. Anton Witt and Mrs. Wencel Kazda of this city.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with services at the St. Boniface church and burial at the Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Kries was a member of the St. Anne's society of the St. Boniface church.

Mrs. Joseph Weix and Mrs. L. Novatny of Antigo and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Muench of Chicago are expected to attend the funeral.
