J D Gregg, 75, of Greeneville, died Thursday morning at his home.
Mr. Gregg was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife: Reba Gregg of Greeneville; one daughter and son-in-law: Beverley and Steve Casteel of Greeneville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Ricky and Melissa Gregg of Greeneville and Jay Daryl and Missy Gregg of Mosheim; five grandchildren: Tara Fortner, Josh Fortner, and Samuel Gregg, all of Greeneville, and Hunter Gregg and Jaden Gregg, both of Mosheim; two stepgrandchildren: Corey Ramsey and Bridget Conner, both of Mosheim; one great-grandchild: Sadie Fortner of Greeneville; one special member of the family: Sandy Trotter of Greeneville; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Charlotte Cutshaw, Marjorie Shelton, Loriene and Vestel Cutshall and Pat and Charlie Ramsey, all of Greeneville; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Roger and Marilyn Gregg of Limestone and Jack and Joyce Gregg of Greeneville; his brothers-in-law and their wives: Pete and Margaret Crum, Hugh "Bud" Crum, John and Carolyn "Cookie" Crum, and James and Judy McCamey, all of Greeneville; his sisters-in-law: Lillian "Sis" Gregg and Christine Shelton, both of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents: Tony and Sophina Gregg; three brothers: Fred Gregg, Robert Gregg, and Danny Gregg; and one sister: Helen McCamey.
A memorial service will be held at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. The Rev. Jason McCoy will officiate.
There will be no formal visitation.
