Mrs. Jessie Causey Miller, wife of Art Miller & a former resident of Greenville, died suddenly at her home in Mulberry Grove at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, although she had been in poor health for 2 years.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Mulberry Grove Baptist chruch of which she was a member, the Rev. James Merriman of Benton officiating. Interment was made in the Mulberry Grove cemetery. The Runells Funeral Home was in charge.
Pallbearers were Walter Durr, E. C. Mayfield, Albert Grigg, Clement Taylor, Rolla Buchanan & Lester Taylor. Music was furnished by Mrs. E. C. Mayfield & Mrs. Clarence Wehrle with Miss Marie Roberts, accompanist.
Jessie Josie Hudson, a daughter of John W. & Elizabeth (Stout) Hudson was born at Honey Bend, near Litchfield, 06Jul1886 & was aged 66 years, 1 month & 1 day. She came to Bond Co. when a small child. In 1912 she was married to Rufus Causey & he died in 1922 leaving a daughter, now Mrs. Claud Benefiel of Mulberry Grove. Her second marriage was to Art Miller of Mulberry Grove in 1930 & he survives her with 4 step-children, 4 grandchildren & 4 nieces. Her twin sister, Mrs. Bessie Koonce died in Apr1943. A sister, Mrs. Fannie Coblentz of Peru, IN survives her.
