He died Thursday at Park View Hospital. Newell was born in Stockton. Kan. He moved to El Reno in 1890 and was a former railroad employee and a rancher. He is survived by a son, Walter, Baton Rouge, La., and three daughters. Mrs. Neill Waldo. 108 SW 56, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Robert Lingenfelter and Mrs. Bill Torrance, both of El Reno.
