ALBANY - Mrs. John Kopp, 78, died Thursday in St. Clare Hospital, Monroe, after a long illness. The former Mary Pommerening was born in Germany July 22, 1887 and came to the United Stated at the age of five with her parents, William and Mary Augusta Busjahn Pommerening. She was married In Green County Feb. 18, 1908 to John Kopp and they farmed In the Albany area, retiring to the village in 1948. Surviving are her husband; three daughters; five sons; 47 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother; and three sisters. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
