Don Thompson Funeral Sunday
To Be Held in Waukee - Number of People From Newton to Attend.

Word has been received by relatives here of the death of Don Thompson, who died at the home of his father, Harry Thompson, near Waukee, after an illness of over a year with tuberculosis.

Mr. Thompson is a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Wall of this city, and made his home here with them for several years. A year ago last winter, he was taken ill with influenza, and never recovered. Last August, he was taken to the home of his father, where he was cared for until his death. He is survived by his wife and two small children, one three years and one eight months old, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson of Waukee, and by four brothers and two sisters. He was the eldest of the family being 33 years old.

Funeral services will be held from the Methodist church near Waukee tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be made in the Waukee cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Grove Evans of Newton will attend the funeral.
