Services held for Anna Adams

Anna Bea Adams, 62, died September 5 in Jenkins.

Born in Knott County to the late Johnny Amburgey and Hattie Bentley Hall, she was the widow of Harold Gene Adams, a sister of the late Ben William Amburgey and Martha Virginia Butts, and a friend of the late Georgean Sexton.

Surviving are a son, Harold Nathaniel Adams and wife Sharon of Appalachia, Va.; a daughter, Anna Marea Bentley and husband Danny T. Jr., of Jenkins; three grandchildren, Emily Grace Adams, James Tyler Blake Freeman and Peyton Nathaniel Adams, and three friends, Edna Parks, Shelia Boggs and Lisa Eversole.

Funeral services were held September 6 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Memorial Park at Ermine.
