HAVERTOWN Mrs. Nancy Moore Blence passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014. Nancy, the daughter of Pearl Brockley Moore and James Draden Moore, grew up in Hanover. She graduated from Eichelberger High School and Millersville State College where she met her future husband, Frank Blence, during Hurricane Hazel. After a military stint on the island of Guam, Nancy and Frank returned to PA. They resided in Havertown for the rest of their lives, where Nancy supported and nurtured friends and family with her unconditional love. Nancy was the proud mother of Peggie Wrigley and Frank A. Blence III and Nana of William Blence Wrigley, Rachel Myrna Wrigley, Alexis Jaclyn Wrigley, Cole Francis Blence, and Connor Thomas Blence, loved forever. Nancy's Memorial Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014, in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown, Pa. where family and friends may call after 6:30 p.m. Interment is private.
