Stephen T. Pearce, 59, Wells, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 19, 1955 in Clay Center to the late William and Ruth (Adam) Pearce.
Steve was a 1973 graduate of Clyde High School.
He was united in marriage with Pauline Racette on November 28, 1980 in Clyde. Steve worked for Ottawa County Feeders and Scoular Elevator both in Minneapolis. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and he was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife Polly; children Amy Newlin and husband Ian; Lori Peterson and husband Rick; and Brian Pearce and wife Denali; siblings Sandra Lyne and husband LeRoy, Cheryl Flesher, Stanley Pearce and wife Judy, Susan Schmidt and husband Jim, Shelley Shivers and husband Bill, Sharon Pearce, and Scott Pearce; and grandchildren Meredith Peterson, Maxwell Newlin, Zoe Newlin, Alexis Peterson, and a little one due in May.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 24, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. at the Church on Monday where a vigil and rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Guardians of St. Joseph and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
