Services for Paul J. Staudt, 81, of Harper, who died Feb. 1, in a Fredericksburg nursing home, were held at 11 a.m. Feb. 3 in St. Anthony's Church in Harper with the Rev. David Meurer officiating. Burial followed in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Born May 15, 1908, in Gillespie County, Mrs. Staudt was a farmer. He married Elnora Kramer June 4, 1929, in Harper. She died March 27, 1974.
Survivors include one son, Rudolph "Rudy" Staudt; two brothers, Robert Staudt and Otto Staudt, both of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Regina Heep of Seguin and Mrs. Bill Heep of Johnson City; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Curtis Staudt, William George, Carl D. Scott, Sherwin R. Staudt, Robert Feller and Jerry Feller.
Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg was in charge of arrangements.
