Jill M. Sutek, age 65, of Lake in the Hills, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2015. She was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Chicago. She married William Sutek, Apr. 23, 1983.
She was employed by Jewel-Osco in Crystal Lake for 26 years, and Paul's Family Restaurant in Elgin. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her "favorite" grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Shane (Lori) Vetter and Rodger (Karissa) Sutek; stepdaughters, Gina (Mike) Christensen and Kris Andrews; grandchildren, Taylor Levesque, Sabrina Vetter, Jackson Vetter, Jacob Vetter and Bill Sutek; her mother, Lillian Brennan; brothers, Rodger Vetter, Jeff Vetter, Ronnie Vetter; stepbrother, John Brennan; sisters, Kathy (Tim) Olsen, Joyce (Ivan) Gati; stepsisters, Denise Brennan and Kim Muirnecara; and many aunt, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sutek; and stepfather, John "Jack" Brennan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Willow Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin, Ill. Service at funeral home Thursday, Feb. 26, at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
