National Guard search Helicopters found the downed helicopter wreckage 25 miles southeast of Boise, near Danskin Peak.

Killed were the pilots: Chief Warrant Officer 4 James R Bollar 39 of McCall and Chief Warrant Officer 4 Dickie C Hill 46 of Boise.

The crew chief Sgt Charles L Hansen 28 of Boise was also killed.

The Huey was a Vietnam-era aircraft about 20 years old. It left Gowen Field in Boise around 5 p.m. Saturday on a training mission and had been due to return by 6:30 pm. Search efforts were called off at midnight Saturday and resumed at sunrise Sunday.
