Stewart was born in Peoria County, Illinois. He had made his home in Winterville since 1990 and was employed at S & S Repair for a number of years.
Stewart was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wesley Baker in 1997 and his father, Wallace Stewart Baker, Sr. in January 2015.
