MRS. J.T. (MARY ADAMS) BULLARD
JANUARY 16, 1914

Mrs. Mary Bullard, widow of J. T. Bullard, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.M. Jones, in Omaha, Neb., on Monday, Jan. 12, 1914, aged 76 years. The remains were shipped to Chicago where the interment was conducted. Mary F. Adams was born in Vermont in 1838 and was united in marriage to J. T. Bullard in 1865.
Who, of the older residents here, that do not remember the Bullard family? J. T. Bullard came to Chatsworth in 1869 and for about twenty years conducted a lumber yard here, and himself and family were well known and popular residents. About twenty years ago they moved to Nebraska, where J.T. died, and since his death the widow has resided with her daughter at Omaha. The only children living, of which we have any knowledge at the present, are W.C. Bullard who is the senior member of the Bullard, Hoagland & Benedict Lumber company, of Omaha, and Mr. E.M. Jones, also of that city. There was another son, John T., but, if still living, his whereabouts are unknown. While a resident of Chatsworth Mrs. Bullard made many friends and was a lady well liked by all, and the older residents remember her as an excellent citizen and lady.
