Jeanne is the daughter of Jacques Chotard and Suzanne Gabaret. She born in about 1636. She came to Quebec as a Filles a Marier. She married Pierre Labrecque on 2 January 1663, in Chateau Richer, Quebec. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
1) Mathurin (1663-1736) md Marie-Marthe Lemieux
2) Marie-Anne (1666-1752) md (a) Jacques Julien and (b) Gilles Laurent
3) Pierre (1668-1756) md Marie-Marthe Coulombe
4) Marie-Catherine (abt 1670-1703) md (a) Pierre Garand and (b) Clement Dubois

She was buried on 11 February 1711.
